Create your Meta Business portfolio (or find the one you already have)

The box your WhatsApp, Page and Instagram live in. First we check whether it already exists: creating a spare one is the costliest mistake at this stage.

This happens outside OrkasaThe steps in this guide happen on Meta’s screens, not in Orkasa.

  1. 1

Before creating anything: if your agency has ever paid for ads on Facebook or Instagram, the portfolio already exists. Let us find it.

CarefulCreating a new portfolio when one already exists leaves your Page and your history in the old one. Merging two portfolios is not a button: it is a claim filed with Meta.
  2. 2

Sign in to Meta Business Suite with your personal Facebook profile and open the portfolio switcher in the top-left.

    Open Meta Business Suite

Meta Business Suite home with the portfolio switcher open in the top-left.

This screen is not Orkasa’s, so our script cannot capture it. It still needs to be replaced with a real screenshot.

  3. 3

Look at the list. If anything shows up with your agency’s name — even misspelled, even under someone else’s name — that is yours. Use it.

ShortcutIf you see none but suspect one exists, ask whoever handled the ads before. That is faster than creating one and regretting it.
  4. 4

If the portfolio exists but you are not an admin, ask whoever administers it to add you as an administrator. “Editor” is not enough.

CarefulWith partial permissions the Orkasa connection opens and then finds no account to pick. That is the number-one symptom of this problem.
  5. 5

Only once you have confirmed there is none: create one. Use the agency’s legal name, not its trading name.

CarefulThe name must match your documents, because it is what Meta compares against when you verify the business. Changing it later restarts that verification.

The “Create a business portfolio” form: business name, your name, and work email.

This screen is not Orkasa’s, so our script cannot capture it. It still needs to be replaced with a real screenshot.

  6. 6

Fill in the business info: legal address, phone, email and website. Enter them exactly as they appear on your documents.

WhyIt looks like pointless paperwork now, but this is literally the form your documents get compared against later. Half an hour here saves a two-week rejection.

The portfolio’s “Business info” section: legal address, phone, website and email.

This screen is not Orkasa’s, so our script cannot capture it. It still needs to be replaced with a real screenshot.

  7. 7

Your website must be live, load over https, and clearly state what the agency does.

CarefulA Meta team actually reviews it. An “under construction” page, or an Instagram link instead of a site, is a common cause of rejection.
  8. 8

You now have the outer box. Next comes the WhatsApp number — and that one carries a decision worth not rushing.

Done!
