Turn your Instagram into a professional account and link it to your Page
A hard requirement for publishing listings to Instagram from Orkasa. A personal account cannot be published to by any tool — this is not something we control.
- 1
Meta only allows API publishing to professional accounts linked to a Facebook Page. Those are two requirements, and you need both.
WhyIf your Instagram is personal, no tool on the market can publish to it. This is not an Orkasa limitation. - 2
Only do this if you want your listings to go out on Instagram. None of it is needed for WhatsApp.
- 3
First you need a Facebook Page for the agency. If you have run ads before, it almost certainly exists: look for it before creating another.
CarefulThe Page must sit inside the same portfolio as your WhatsApp. If it is in another one, Orkasa will not see it when connecting. - 4
In the Instagram app: Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account. Choose Business, not Creator.

During the switch, Instagram offers to link a Page. Pick your agency’s.
CarefulIf it is not on the list, your personal profile does not administer it. Fix that first: linking afterwards is fiddlier.Capture pending · Meta screenInstagram’s linking step: the list of available Facebook Pages to connect.

To confirm it worked, go to Meta Business Suite: your Instagram should appear inside the portfolio, next to the Page.

Now, in Orkasa: Settings → Connections → Instagram. Meta’s window will let you pick the account.
CarefulPick correctly the first time. Changing accounts later forces you to redo the whole connection.
Done!
