Verify your business with Meta

What documents it asks for, how long it really takes, and what it unlocks. It does not block your start: the bot can run while you wait.

    First, the good news: you do not need to be verified to start. You can connect WhatsApp and work while Meta reviews.

    WhyWhat it does unlock is your messaging limit. Unverified you start at 250 new customers per day; verified you move up to 2,000.

    The rule that decides everything: what you typed in the portfolio must match, letter for letter, what your document says.

    CarefulNearly every rejection is this, not the document. “Inmobiliaria Costa del Este” on paper and “Costa del Este Realty” in Meta is already enough to get it bounced.

    Any official document showing the legal name together with the address or phone works: business licence, certificate of incorporation, a utility bill, or a business bank statement.

    ShortcutBoth details must appear on the same document. One paper with the name and another with the address does not count.

    The document must be current and unedited. No crops, no blacked-out fields, nothing expired.

    In the portfolio settings, open the Security Centre and start verification.

    Review the details Meta already has on file — those are what it will compare — fix anything that does not match, and only then upload the document.

    Now you wait. It can resolve in hours or take a couple of weeks: both are normal and neither says anything about your case.

    ShortcutDo not resubmit out of impatience. A second submission speeds up nothing and leaves you with two open reviews.

    If it is rejected, Meta names the detail that did not line up. Fix that field and resubmit: you almost never need a different document.
